Mercedes Class A, four versions for the U.S.

Mercedes would be looking into the possibility of launching in 2014 with the Mercedes A class three other variants based on the same platform, but that will be compact and with a price that is estimated at around U.S. $ 30,000. The other three variants should include a minivan with electric motor, a sedan three small volumes and a small crossover .

The new A-Class and its derivatives will then be a true global family of models to be able to satisfy all customer demands and compete with the large competition. In this way Mercedes wants to fill all segments and still be more competitive in any field. The arrival of an electric version also confirms the coming of the Class A power . Class A will not have the frame with the earlier style , but will have a traditional arrangement of components to share with other models, saving on costs and the opportunity to share engines with Nissan-Renault .

The MPV is essential for the European market, while in America the Mercedes has probed the ground. The new look of the small German seems to have convinced the leaders of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer to bring a smaller model of the C-Class in the U.S.. Not surprisingly, also the small crossover, as well as the sedan variant. The North American market and emerging facilities for this type of car many opportunities, especially in the Chinese premium where the band is growing. Rather difficult to see in Italy.
