Fiat 500 Design Collection Fuorisalone 2011


Fiat presented the project Fiat 500 Design Collection, At the Salone del Mobile di Milano 2011. A project developed in collaboration with Lapo Elkann and Meritalia and that is a tribute to what has always been considered an icon of our time, 500. The collection presented consists of a sofa, a table and a console, all the furniture are inspired by the Fiat 500 years 70.


A partnership created by the interest that Fiat has always been against the designNot only in the car sector. Meritalia, has always been known for its know-how can create custom solutions to meet both aesthetic and functional, was the ideal company with which this project. Independent Ideas, Creative factory, has instead helped to make concrete the idea with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders level. Fiat 500 Design Collection with its products will be available online soon at www.fiat500design.com and through the distribution network of Meritalia.

The Picnic Table has a structure made by the union of the frontal parts of the Fiat 500 on the 70 which is supported a transparent extra-clear tempered glass. The side wheels are in flexible polyurethane elastomeric matte black finish. Cin Cin The console has a basic structure in sheet form that reproduces the front of the Fiat 500 years 70. The Panorama Sofa has a metal structure that approximates the shape of the front Fiat 500 years 70. The padded seat and backrest made of polyurethane with different densities, making it very convenient. Again, the 500 continues to be the best Italy.
