Mercedes-Benz A Concept for the Shanghai Motor Show


Mercedes-Benz just released the first official pictures of the Class A Concept that forms ahead of the next generation of the small house. This new prototype will be presented at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show , held between 11 and 28 April.

According to its designers, the inspiration in terms of lines and shapes is given by the wind, waves and the world of aviation . Much of his appearance is based on the Mercedes-Benz F-800 Style presented at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show . The Mercedes-Benz A Concept uses a four-cylinder turbocharged 2-liter engine of the new M270 series. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission.



New in the segment, the Class A Concept features a collision avoidance system using radar works and works with the Adaptive Brake Assist . Called Collision Prevention Assist alerts the driver via audible and visual signals and preloads the brake system to expedite its response at the time of braking.
