Mercedes Class A Concept at Shanghai Auto Show 2011


Mercedes A Class Concept will be presented by Mercedes-Benz at the Shanghai Motor Show 2011 . This is a car that has a design very characteristic. Among the main technical report from the new four-cylinder petrol engine with turbocharger, dual-clutch automatic transmission and a collision warning radar system integrated into the Adaptive Brake Assist.


The prototype of Class A leads a new line in the segment of compact cars from the point of view of design technology. The car, with front-wheel drive is equipped with a petrol engine with four cylinders of the new series M270, an engine that delivers high performance with low emissions and minimal consumption . Under the hood of the Concept A-Class is the new two-liter BlueEFFICIENCY engine, 155 kW, and the new dual-clutch gearbox Mercedes-Benz. The Class A has the concept of a collision warning radar system integrated into the Adaptive Brake Assist, which can reduce accidents.

This system of driver assistance, through visual and audible signals, alert the driver of the risk of collision and prepares the Brake Assist to provide braking power once the driver presses the brake. On board the Concept Class A present that the bridge is inspired by the aerodynamic shape of the typical jet , covered in translucent fabric and elastic, which enhances the cell structure. The Concept of Class A infotainment also provides integration with the smartphone .
