The Ferrari has announced it will offer a maintenance program for seven years included in the price to those who buy a Ferrari 458 Italy , a Ferrari California or Ferrari FF . The initiative comes after the manufacturer of Maranello was hit last year by the greatest measure of auto recall in its history, due to a defect in the assembly which led to the burning of some 458 Italy . The assistance program was launched in March in Europe and will be extended to other markets later this year.
"This measure is designed to provide a service of maintenance each year for the seven-year period - explains the Ferrari - As there is no limit on mileage, customers who exceed the estimated distance between the other service (20,000 km) will make the appropriate checks more than once a year " .
The program Ferrari Genuine Maintenance covers all the activities of maintenance , including spare parts, engine control, oil changes and check the brake fluid. As mentioned there are no mileage limits and can be transferred to third parties, subsequent owners within the seven years of coverage.
Last summer, the Prancing Horse has been forced to recall 1248 model Ferrari 458 Italy for a failure which could lead (and has actually led) to fire the cars, putting at risk the lives of motorists.
