Volvo joins the idea of​wireless charging

Volvo will transfer a unit of C-30 electrical testing.


The system consists of a ground plate magnetic coil that transfers the AC power without physical contact to the vehicle when it is placed on top. The car will inductive sensor installed and a voltage converter to transform the alternating current in the continuum that is necessary.

Estimates talk of being able to recharge in a hour and twenty minutes. Volvo joins open to other projects and other companies are also developing on the topic of inductive charging.
