The R8 e-tron not very different from another R8, is something of a special edition of the standard R8, but only driven by electricity. Still having the same body coupe 4.43 m long, two doors and two seats, with only 1.25 m tall. There are slight changes in the hood and other small details.

It has a range up to about 250 km. Top speed is limited to 200 km / h. The car is not heavier than the R8's engine, the batteries weigh about 500 kg, but V8 engines also weigh a lot. In total weighs 1,600 kilos. Do not forget that the body is made of an alloy Aluminum and just over 200 kg. The internal heating, more efficient, is by heat pump.
Be produced in small series. No one knows the official price (too early for that), but serve as a reference to the heat engine R8 starts at about € 127,000.
